I spent 10 years as a volunteer for SurfAid International as the IT Specialist. This was on Nias after the 2003 earthquake, setting up Satellite Communications for Field Medical Staff

I spend some time in South West Africa as a soldier

I completed the 32 mile Molokai Channel crossing between Molokai and Oahu, multiple times.

I still do a lot of surfing

I helped raise a family with my wife Corena, and we have three grandchildren.
